About Me

I have a passion for being of service to those in my local community by providing healing holistic touch. I am so happy with my decision to change careers from bookkeeping to massage therapy!

I studied several modalities of massage therapy at the well-known National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA. I graduated in March 2019 and became a CMT; state certified massage therapist. While there I received over 800 classroom hours of training, over 100 hours working on the public at the school’s on-site teaching clinic, as well as 60 hours of externship at a local spa. (Note I have almost double California’s 500 hour minimum). NHI’s core program includes learning about the bones and muscles of the body, kinesiology, physiology & pathology as they all directly relate to massage therapy. It also taught me about common practitioner issues, ethical codes of conduct, standard business practices and much more. I absolutely loved my time there and miss the amazing staff and the wonderful environment of healers coming together.

While I was in school, I was also employed part time at the school’s clinic, where I practiced and honed my skills working on an assortment of body types with a wide variety of physical and medical issues.

My California CMT # is 79137. My liability insurance is thru AMTA  

I am a current Member of the American Massage Therapy  Association (AMTA).
